I would like to thank both the staff and the volunteers at the Tarbat Discovery Centre in Portmahomack for their kind hospitality the other day. I am looking forward to working with them in 2017. Further details will be revealed here in due course.

For those unfamiliar with Tarbat it is the site of the only Pictish monastic settlement excavated in Scotland to date. The Centre displays many of the artefacts uncovered during extensive archaeological investigations plus has the added bonus of a rather delightful graveyard.
